B i o g r a p h y

Ena Petkovic was born in 1989 in Belgrade (Serbia). She began playing violin in “Stankovic” music school at the age of eight in the class of Professor Tatiana Petrovic. In 2008 continued working with Professor Marko Josifoski on Academy of Arts in Novi Sad (Serbia) and finished bachelor studies in 2012 with highest marks.

She prefers playing chamber music, and has been awarded on numerous competitions. The most important are:

 

 

1st place on International String Competition 2011 in Sremska Mitrovica (Serbia)

2nd place on International String Competition 2010 in Sremska Mitrovica (Serbia)  

 

 

From 2008 actively performs as a soloist, with chamber ensembles in numerous concerts in Yugoslav Drama Theatre, Kolarac concert Hall, museum of Applied Arts, in multimedia projects in galleries and concert halls in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sid, Zrenjanin, Subotica (Serbia).With chamber string ensemble have performed in Budapest (Hungary).

She is also an active member of Symphony Orchestra in Novi Sad.

In 2008 has been working with violinist Stefan Milenkovich (Juilliard School of Music New York).

2012 collaborated with chamber string orchestra “Kamerata Akademika”.

From 2013 she assists on Faculty of Music in Belgrade in chamber music- string quartet.

 

 

International experience in Symphony orchestras and chamber music

 

2009 worked in International Youth Symphony Orchestra (Germany) and performed in Hvar (Croatia). 

2010 worked in chamber ensemble in Bayreuth (Germany) with tutor Felix Nickel (Kuss Quartet, Germany) and recorded for Radio Bayreuth.

2010 as a member of Bayreuth Symphony Orchestra worked with famous conductor Patrick Lange (Germany), and tutors from Deutche Oper Berlin (Germany) Daniel Draganov and Susanne Calgeer.

 

 

Theatre experience

 

From 2011 she performs as a solo violinist in Chamber Music Society in Serbian National Theatre of Novi Sad, performing operettas : „Die schone Galathee“ Franz Von Suppe, „ Die Opern Probe“ Albert Lortzing and „Abu Hasan“ Carl Maria von Weber.
